LEGWORK PRIVACY POLICY

1. OVERVIEW
LegWork provides an administrative sports operations SaaS platform designed for athletic directors, head coaches, assistant coaches, and team administrators. We are committed to protecting the privacy of school administrators, coaching staff, student-athletes, and parents.

2. EDUCATIONAL & YOUTH PRIVACY COMPLIANCE (FERPA & COPPA)
FERPA Compliance: LegWork acts as a school official with legitimate educational interests when processing educational records on behalf of participating K-12 institutions. All student record data remains the property of the educational institution.
COPPA Compliance & No Student Logins: LegWork is an administrative and broadcast-only platform. Student-athletes are strictly prohibited from creating accounts or logging into the platform. All platform interactions occur via authorized coaching staff, athletic directors, or designated adult team administrators.
No Unmonitored Messaging: LegWork does not facilitate direct, unmonitored peer-to-peer or student-to-coach messaging. All communications are broadcast-only announcements or administrative operational updates.

3. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
Administrative Account Data: Name, institutional/team email address, phone number, school/club affiliation, and login credentials for coaches and staff.
Roster & Operations Data: Student-athlete names, roster assignments, equipment tracking tags, attendance records, schedule data, and emergency contact details supplied by authorized staff.
Optional Health & Injury Metrics: If opted into by the institutional admin or coach, basic injury tracking or athletic availability logs may be recorded. This data is strictly aggregated or anonymized for administrative and health/safety review.
Automated Technical Data: IP addresses, device identifiers, log data, and browser type collected automatically when interacting with the administrative web portal.

4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use collected data solely to:
• Operate, maintain, and improve the LegWork sports operations platform.
• Deliver automated schedule updates, team announcements, and operational alerts via SMS or email.
• Manage rosters, attendance, and equipment tracking.
• Comply with legal, regulatory, and safety obligations.

5. DATA PROTECTION & SHARING
No Sale of Personal Data: We never sell, rent, or trade personal data, student records, or contact information to third parties or advertisers.
Service Providers: We share necessary data only with trusted third-party infrastructure providers (e.g., encrypted cloud storage providers, SMS gateways) bound by strict confidentiality and data protection agreements.
Data Encryption: All data transmitted to and from LegWork is encrypted in transit using SSL/TLS protocols and encrypted at rest.

6. YOUR RIGHTS & DATA RETENTION
Institutions and authorized administrators retain full control over their team data. You may request data export, modification, or complete deletion by contacting us at support@legworkapp.com.
